Artist statement At Emily Carr many years ago, I did lots of painting, drawing, handbuilt ceramic sculptures, graphic design and photography. It was a highly creative, experimental time for the whole three years. After studying one year of photography there, I thought I had little talent in photography and sold my camera at a swap meet and did not buy another for 14 years. Little did I know then that indeed I was called to do it. This has been my path, full of surprises.
