The Eagles Are Coming was inspired by some writings that mobilized me to be aware of and photograph eagles when I could. This happened to be in the Fraser Valley and I captured a few on camera to tell the story and this was the result. This eagle had a broken wing so I did not include it and one claw clutched at the gloved hand of the woman holding this amazing bird. Unforgettable intensity.

THE ANOINTING
Eternity has been on my mind. So I created this art to convey faith, with hands receiving miracles. My understanding is that in Celtic folklore, the wild goose is the symbol for the Holy Spirit. I photographed this 'wild' goose ( but aren't they all wild?) at Trinity Western University and then the clouds, and then photographed a friend's hands and then merged the three and enhanced it all. Afterwards it was printed with archival inks on canvas, then it was enhanced with clear brushstrokes that has uv protection. This is a limited edition. $195

There were a few photographs illustrating Jesus Christ as the Watchman who intercedes for us. This one spoke to the heart and indeed has touched many as it has gone worldwide. The portuguese have a saying ... saudade ... which is longing so deep no English word encapsulates it. Perhaps best described as deep, deep longings of the soul. There is only One who can satisfy those longings deep inside.
