MY SAFE PLACE

This was captured in the Dominican Republic on a quiet evening when everyone that had been on the beach retired to have dinner and socialise inside. But I sprung into action as I was inspired by the wonderful light, the quiet, not a soul in sight except for my friend as she caught my excitement for what I was seeing and feeling.

HOPE REMAINS
Original 8.8"x40" acrylic painting on wood, framed. These were the last of the trees that were to be cut down to make way for the Vineyard and eventual Winery called Quinta Ferreira. It looked forlorn. Then the Vineyard was planted and new life emerged.
