Artist statement After studying one year of photography at Emily Carr, I thought I had no talent. I sold my canon camera at a swap meet and did not buy another for 14 years. I did lots of painting, drawing, handbuilt ceramic sculptures, and graphic design. It was a highly creative, experimental time for the whole three years.

Life is full of surprises.
